i2 iBridge by i2 Limited is a data access and integration component that lets investigators and intelligence analysts explore live records from enterprise databases directly within i2 Analyst’s Notebook. Instead of copying data into a separate repository, i2 iBridge maps tables and relationships from sources such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle to entities and links on a chart, enabling on-demand queries, drill-down, and pivoting across connected data while preserving a clear reference back to the system of record.

Key capabilities:

  • Live, read-only access to structured data via standard database connections (for example, ODBC).
  • Configurable mappings that translate database fields and relationships into chart entities and links.
  • Interactive, parameterized queries from within the chart to search, expand, and refine results.
  • On-demand retrieval that keeps insights current and reduces data duplication.
  • Provenance preserved through source references, aiding verification and audit.

Typical uses:

  • Law enforcement and national security investigations.
  • Fraud, financial crime, and compliance analytics.
  • Cyber and threat intelligence, due diligence, and insider risk inquiries.

Benefits:

  • Faster discovery of connections across disparate data sets.
  • Consistent, repeatable access to enterprise data without complex data movement.
  • Clear traceability from analytic findings back to the original records.

i2 iBridge is developed by i2 Limited. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 3.0 and 8.0. The name of the program executable file is iBridge Designer.exe.
